    A landlord is to pay £2,125 in fines and £1,815 costs to Reading Borough Council after admitting he failed to keep a property in East Reading in a fit state for tenants. Mohammed Mir, 41, of Cumberland Road, Reading, pleaded guilty to 16 offences relating to a house he owns in Eastern Avenue, which he rented out to nine tenants.
