The thoroughfare has been closed since mid December, when Network Rail started work to remove and replace the southern bridge and lay a new road under the structure.     Fatal Collision in Caversham

    Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to a fatal collision in Caversham which happened earlier today (22/12). The incident happened in Prospect Street, at the junction with Peppard Road and Henley Road, at around 11.55am. A silver Peugeot 406 was involved in a collision with a wall and came to rest against a post.     A woman from Reading has learnt to read and write almost 50 years after leaving school illiterate. Sue Chapman was unable to perform everyday tasks from opening a bank account to choosing food in a supermarket, until two years ago.
