  Melvin Benn Donates £15,000 to Mayor’s Fund   Melvin Benn, Managing Director of Festival Republic the man behind Reading Festival, will be presenting a cheque for £15k to Reading’s Mayor Deborah Edwards to boost her ambitious charity fundraising. Cllr Edwards hopes to raise £60k during her year in office to support her six chosen charities. They all involve families, children and vulnerable people and are Plan UK International, NSPCC, Berkshire Women’s Aid, Albert Road Day Centre, Launchpad and the YMCA. [...]
