Maasai Warriors to visit Poole
Original Maasai Warriors are to visit Poole town centre this weekend, bringing alive the town centre with the sounds and sights of Africa. A FISH and chip shop has earned its plaice in a national competition. Less than a year after opening, Lakeside Fish and Chips, at Lifeboat Quay, Poole, made the top three in the south west region of the coveted National Fish and Chip Awards. Poole’s Twin Sails bridge in final tests
A new £37m bridge in Dorset is being put through its paces ahead of its opening early next year. The Twin Sails bridge in Poole has been lifting for the first time during a rigorous testing process. Spanning Backwater Channel between Hamworthy and Poole port, the bridge will unlock 26 hectares of brownfield land for regeneration.
