Reg Curnock knows a lot about allotments after growing vegetables for four decades. Now the grandfather-of-14 has been picked as Oxford’s top allotment holder. The 75-year-old started growing veg for his own children and now delivers fresh produce to his grandchildren across the city. Pensioner’s camera hobby raises over £100,000 for Oxfam
By restoring old donated cameras for Oxfam, Milo Shott has raised more than £100,000 for the charity. He began 11 years ago when he walked into the Summertown store in Oxford andsaw two shop workers about to dispose of an old piece of equipment. Mr Shott, whose interest in photography began as a child, saved what turnedout to be an extremely rare telephoto lens.
