Nottingham’s Big Summer Clean
Nottingham City Council’s Big Summer Clean was back in town to help make all the city shine! That was the theme of the Big Summer Clean official launch which took place on Friday 1 July 2011. This video shows their Flash Mob exercise, where some litter was planted near a litter bin and any unsuspecting passer-bys picking it up were congratulated by the hidden team who cheered and raised a fanfare!

London 2012 Hopefuls Set for Nottingham Tournament
Many of the world’s top Wheelchair Tennis players will return to Nottingham for the second time this year to contest the Nottingham Indoor Wheelchair Tennis Tournament, which takes place from 26 – 30 October. Christmas is coming to the Old Market Square
The Christmas festivities in Nottingham will start in style on Wednesday 23 November when the city is bought to life by thousands of twinkling lights with the official ‘switch on’.
