    Nottingham Panthers have completed the signing of their former forward Sean McAslan and have sealed a deal for Sami Ryhanen until the end of the season.     Carl Froch is hoping for a comeback fight in his home city of Nottingham next year after American Andre Ward inflicted only his second defeat.     Trio advise on £570m deal to extend Nottingham’s tram system

    Hogan Lovells, CMS Cameron McKenna and DLA Piper have taken lead roles on a £570m extension to Nottingham’s tram network, which was given final approval this week (15 December). Hogan Lovells advised the bank consortium providing senior debt funding for the project, which will see the construction of two new lines extending the tram system to Chilwell and Clifton.     Plans for an office block in a historic part of Nottingham have been criticised by campaigners. Studon Holdings wants to develop the last open site in the Lace Market, currently a car park, and alter three listed buildings.
