Five designs for a new war memorial in Leicester have been unveiled. The £75,000 monument will honour local servicemen and women who lost their lives in conflicts around the world, since 1945. School catchment areas in Leicester are set to change after a review. A 10-week public consultation on the proposals will begin on 5 December before a final decision is made by Leicester City Council.
