The celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee there will be a number of events taking place in Henley-on-Thames during the Jubilee weekend of the 2nd – 5th and throughout the month of June 2012.
These will include “The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Beacon” – a family event at Makins Recreation Ground on Sunday 4th June where the the beacon will be lit. There will also be a Jubilee/Civic Service and procession to and from the Town Hall and St Mary’s Church on Saturday 3rd June.
Henley Town Council are also planning to hold “The Big Lunch” on Saturday 3rd June, as part of the main programme of events to celebrate the Jubilee as announced by Buckingham Palace.
