View TV visited Hobbs of Henely who have been providing boat hire services in Henley since 1870. We went to meet Jonathan Hobbs to find out what other services they provide and to have a look around his family run business.
We went to Cannelle, in Hart Street. The beauty salon has been open for 15 years in Oxford and just celebrated being open for 10 years in Henley with their best year yet.
On Wednesday 4th April we went to new menswear shop Laurence, in Duke Street, following its opening at the weekend.
Laurence, which sells smart and casual men’s clothing, had held its launch party on the Friday night which was attended by the mayor Pam Phillips and had officially opened on the Saturday.

On Tuesday 14th February we attended the opening of Boatique, a new boating shop, in Hart Street.
Boatique is the new business venture of Gillian Nahum, owner of Henley Sales and Charter.
Gillian’s shop provides for all boating needs from clothing to furniture.

Amidst the well known shops that have fallen into administration due to the recession comes the welcome opening of a new boating shop in the prime location of Henley.
Boatique provides for all your boating needs from clothing to furniture to nautical themed toys.
The shop which is in Hart Street, opened at 10.30 am today. Champagne and canapés were on offer for the adults and the first twelve children in store received a helium balloon and a toy pirate telescope.
