    Swedish TV viewers get 24 hour 3D channel

    3D lifestyle channel HIGH TV 3D continues to expand across Europe having launched in Sweden on the Canal Digital platform yesterday.

    The channel, which broadcasts nearly every genre possible in 3D including comedy, drama, fitness and movies, has expanded rapidly since its launch in April last year. Viewers in Romania, Finland, Denmark, all of the Arab Region, Indonesia, China, India, Taiwan, Georgia, Australia and New Zealand can now watch the 24 hour 3D channel which produces most of its own content.

    Google has said that its latest television iteration will receive annual software updates, as well as voice search and personalised recommendations.
    Google said it plans to upgrade its Google TV software by the end of the year, adding fresh content and more personalised recommendations, and maintaining its annual software upgrade schedule.

    ABC TV on Demand joins Lovefilm

    Lovefilm is adding top US series from ABC TV on Demand in a deal with Disney UK.
    The branded subscription video on demand service will provide streamed access to ABC Studios’ library of hit network and cable series. Including Desperate Housewives, Grey’s Anatomy, Ghost Whisperer and Brothers & Sisters (pictured). Many series will be available in their entirety.
